Scania Supply Chain Networks is a function within Production & Logistics and Our ambition is to become the leader within sustainable logistics. Our mission is to globally develop, manage and optimize our logistical flows by building flows with minimal environmental impact, and high quality to the lowest possible cost. As an important part of Supply Chain Networks, the central responsibility for the Packaging Process where one department now is looking for new team members.

Packaging Network and Selection is responsible for developing the Packaging Logistics Network, both short- and long term. We are now facing an exciting and important development step aiming to get full control of Scania’s Packaging Processes and Network, saving cost and lowering the environmental impact. We are also responsible for developing the Packaging Selection Process to secure right packaging for each flow and application. A third area that we mainly work within is Digitalization and IT. We are a group of six individuals with mixed experience, both internal & external.

Job description

As a team member, you will be a key player in taking Packaging logistics towards a more efficient and controlled process. You will lead and participate in different logistics improvement projects to support Scania’s future strategies and goals.

You will work with:


• Identifying, initiating, developing & coordinating improvement projects and assignments, both cross-functional and internal.
• Problem-solving and establish way of working to avoid the problem in the future.

Different areas of responsibility:


• Develop and maintain control within the packaging system.
• Secure capacity within the packaging system.
• Design and maintain the empty packaging network.
• Secure and develop packaging transport set up.
• Support packaging operations with process development.

Your profile

We believe that you have a university degree, or similar, within logistics, with at least 3-5 years work experience within that area. You are experienced within project management & coordination and love being “the spider in the web”. We further believe that you are skilled in process- & value stream mapping and other problem solving tools. You can both work in teams as well as deliver results on your own. You are fluent in the Swedish and English language, both written and spoken. You are also skilled in analyzing, and experience in using Power BI or similar analysis tools is regarded as merit.

You are a positive, driven, curious and communicative person with a talent for connecting with new people. You easily see the big picture and understand the details, are constructive, see new opportunities and take initiatives for improvements.
