What you’ll do.
The Carrier Management and Operations planning team within Inbound Logistics EMEA at Volvo Cars are responsible to manage our carrier’s performance and future improvements. As part of the team, you will be responsible for carrier’s performance and be a part of the development to strengthen the relationship as well as the performance. 

Do you fit the profile?
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of logistics and both the European transport market as well as intercontinental market.  You also might have a university degree in Logistics or other related studies. If you have experience from a forwarder or in house logistics team this is an advantage, equally experience from supply chain, another OEM or tier 1 supplier is also of interest.
This role will absolutely suit you if you are a quick learner and have excellent interpersonal skills including fluent English both written and spoken, as that will be your daily working language.
We believe you have a strong knowledge and experience in MS Excel and understand operational planning and resource allocation. You have proven ability to work creatively and analytically with a problem-solving approach.
We also believe that you can think outside the box and are eager to identify and implement improvements in the daily work.
