What you will do
As a Logistics Engineer, Projects and Investigationsyou are responsible for developing and implementing efficient material flows and layout of the logistics flows from suppliers to Tuve plant. You will drive and develop our process towards the plant main objectives and targets. Lean thinking is the foundation of your work where you are committed and driven to make our plant even better. Continuous improvements are a part of the daily work as well as making root cause analysis for the issues we face.

Main activities and responsibilities for this role:
Design internal and external logistics processes that utilize lean manufacturing concepts and engage stakeholders through explanation of facts, requirements and best practices
Define strategies to optimize procedures, minimize wastes, drive problem solving, and decrease logistics costs
Implement future material handling flows and all supporting physical and electronic processes and documentation
Investigate and start feasibility studies that support the plants masterplan
Secure commonality and alignment with other EBM plants
Responsible for delivering project gate input from all Tuve Logistic departments. Input can include all Tuve Logistic impacts, e.g. costs (investment and expense), manning, layout impact, material flow impact etc.

You will create an extensive network and collaborate with internal and external customers and suppliers. Your future team
You will join a diverse logistics engineering team at the Tuve Plant, consisting of 20 engineers dedicated to both performance and transformation. We work closely with other local and global logistics departments, manufacturing engineers and project managers.
Who are you?
You are an analytical person with a strong interest in manufacturing and logistics development, a skilled problem solver with high ambitions of finding improvements and solutions to drive the plant forward. You can work independently and take your own initiative as well as collaborating with others in a cross-functional team. You work without prestige, based on facts, and have an easy time seeing situations from different perspectives. High-paced environments make you excited and you enjoy connecting with many colleagues during the day.

You are good at managing projects and have strong coordination skills, as well as the ability to develop your surroundings. You enjoy having multiple tasks at hand simultaneously where you can act quickly, and you also participate in long-term projects. Jumping to conclusions is just a waste of time you think, but when you are certain, you jump directly into action. You are good at communicating and enjoy building relationships with different types of people, seeing the value in teamwork, as well as taking your own initiatives and being able to work independently when needed. You are driven by constantly developing yourself and your surroundings.

You have extensive work experience and an academic background with a technical focus, and you can drive and lead improvement work. Additionally, your enthusiasm for digitalization, Industry 4.0, lean manufacturing, or emerging technologies serves as a bonus as you are ready to tackle the challenges of tomorrow.

Qualifications
Relevant experience from Logistics environment, with special focus on material supply and handling.
Proven experience in managing projects and are skilled in project management structures as well as budgeting
Leadership skills: communicative, persuasive, action oriented and result driven.
Good knowledge about LEAN philosophy, problem solving and continuous improvement.
Ability to communicate, drive changes and work in team.
Relevant working experience with IS/IT-tools.
Holistic view with the ability to prioritize.
College or university education in production or logistics engineering is a merit.
Proficient in Swedish and English.
