Dedicated to a sustainable future!
Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions. The electrification trend within the automotive business is moving rapidly. For P&L this means that we need to prepare for ramping up production of electrical vehicles and help Scania become more sustainable. One major component in an electrical vehicle is the battery. Therefore we have set up a team that is running projects for in-house production of battery modules and battery packs.
We are right now running the production in S26 for the existing battery pack as well as the prototypes for next generations of Packs and Modules. In parallel we are a big group of engineers and project leaders working with the set up for the new generation battery packs and modules in the new building. We are now looking for flexible manager, that is dedicated to a sustainable future.
Today the operational logistic engineering, preparation, planning and material planning is gathered in the same department. The department is getting larger to handle future intro and project deliveries. In parallel the logistic project is run within the project department. The project team is also getting larger and is facing complexity in future challenges.
To handle the coming situation a new department will be added. We are now looking for a manager to handle the MELT department with engineering of flows in the future project as well as the operational engineering support. A group of 8-13 persons now located in both the production facility as well as the project office for battery production.
