Product Unit (PU) Precision Strip in Sandviken is a leading producer of cold-rolled and hardened precision strip for demanding applications. Our products are found in knives, razorblades for wet shaving, in the compressor of your refrigerator, and in your car´s AC-system.

Our Logistics department is now looking for a Logistics Manager, to be located in Sandviken.

Key performance areas
As Logistics Manager you will develop PU Precision Strip's logistics for both the short and long term. The Logistics department manages an exciting material flow in the production, with many interdependencies, and faces the challenge of reducing stock levels and improving delivery precision. You will work toward these goals by:
- Ensuring that the necessary processes for optimizing PU Precision Strip's logistics work are developed, implemented, and maintained
- Being responsible for stock control and administration, including order-to-invoice processing, purchase and supply of direct material, and workflow design
- Being responsible for the Sales & Capacity Planning process
- Being responsible for the logistics department annual cost budgeting and for PU Precision Strip's Net Working Capital budget
- Managing stocks for all of Precision Strip
- Following developments in logistics and shipping

You will be part of Product Area Strip's extended management team (Strip International) and function as Strip's representative for Executive Sales and capacity planning at the SMT level. You will also be a part of the PU management team and have your own management group for Logistics.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in Engineering, preferably with a focus on logistics, mechanics, or economics. We will also consider someone with equivalent experience in one or more of these areas. Candidates should also have experience working in logistics, production, or marketing. Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both written and spoken, is a requirement, while knowledge of business economics is advantageous.

One half of the job involves the marketing aspects and the delivery needs; the other half is to understand how production works.

You are a good communicator: you are good at getting the message across and can facilitate in the relationship between Sales & Marketing and production. Additionally, you should also be analytical, must handle stress well, have strong drive, and be unafraid of conflicts.
