Logistics Manager

We are looking for our next Logistics Manager at FlexLink! As Logistics Manager with FlexLink, you will be a part of our Operations team and your responsibility covers the distribution network of our products globally. As Logistics Manager, you will drive the department strategy to support the goals of the business and optimize the operation through successfully managing employees, processes and tools.
This is what you will do
Being responsible for our distribution network includes planning of material, inbound freight from suppliers, distribution centers and distribution of material to internal and external customers. Moreover, being accountable for overseeing the global Sales & Operating Planning process as well as driving high customer experience and company profitability across a highly efficient distribution network.
Main activities and responsibilities:
Oversee regional distribution centers and the process of Company Sales & Operating Planning
Drive high customer service and expected financial results. This involves the following activities: data analysis of distribution processes, regular monitoring and control of KPIs, implementation of required actions, close cooperation with other functions inside FlexLink
Implement world-class standards across the distribution network: freight management, inventory management, warehouse operations
Develop policies and drive strategic projects to improve customer service and cost of distribution network
Foster continuous improvement culture and agile approach across the entire organization
Build, develop and manage local teams including continuous talent development in the organization
Drive digitalization of distribution network
Work cross-organizationally to define, develop and deliver an innovative strategy and roadmap to respond to market conditions and customer needs
Ensure compliance with rules and regulations

This is you
With your wide experience within an international environment, you have a high level of business and financial acumen and are used to complex problem-solving as well as critical thinking. Furthermore, you have excellent communication and leadership skills, always with a customer-centric mindset. Also, you have:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or business
Wide experience in supply chain management and excellent knowledge of supply chain processes, like planning, inventory control, distribution
Experience in digitalization of supply chain processes
CPIM certification and/or knowledge of SAP
English, written and spoken.
