We are looking for a Logistics Manager for our site in Malmö with a strategic mindset to drive the development further and join the Nordics Logistics team.
What you will do?
In the role as Logistics Manager you will be fully responsible for the logistics activities, service levels and budgets as well as the long term development of the logistics function. The scope is both finished goods warehousing and outbound transportation. We have two warehouse locations on site with approximately 22 000 palletplaces and ship to both customers and warehouses all over Europe. You will lead a team of four direct, responsible for an organization with roughly 50 employees in total. Your main areas of responsibilities are:
• End to end responsibility for all logistics processes
• Further develop and implement long term site logistics strategy
• Deliver the financial and service targets as well as responsible for budget regarding all
warehousing and transport activities in Malmö
• Develop and implement projects improving the logistics processes, increasing service, securing quality and reducing costs
• Lead and develop the logistics team and be an active member of the site management team
• Identify and drive continuous improvements
• Ensure HSE standards are maintained
In order to be able to be succesfull and deliver on above responsibilties you need to work closely with other functions within the site as well as develop the relationship with external parties such as logistics service providers.
This position is located in Malmö and you will report directly to Nordics Logistics Cluster Manager.
Who you are?
We believe that you are a person with a strong drive and at least 5 years experience of working in leading roles within logistics. You have proven leadership experience and project mangegement background with strong ability to implement changes. You have strong people- and stakeholder management skills as well as you are analytical and structured in your way of working and have the flexibility to handle multiple and complex tasks. You have good continous improvement understanding and implementation experience. Excel skills are to advanced level and benefit with experience from SAP. You have a MSc degree in Logistics or similar. For this position it´s required that You are fluent both in Swedish and English, both written and verbally, however the local work environment is Swedish.
