About the position
On behalf of our client, Perido is looking for a Logistics Manager, they’re a successful and fast-growing electric car company. You will be a key player in establishing the company and their mission to transform the automotive industry towards an electrified and sustainable future. This position is placed in Gothenburg.
Your daily tasks
The purpose of this position is to secure an efficient and quality assured End to End (E2E) distribution process for the company’s vehicles on a global level. That means that your daily work revolves around secure cars arriving on time. When deviations occur, this is communicated to customers well in advance and action is taken to reach targets. This is what you will be working with:
Follow-up on KPIs, including action points where performance gaps are identified
Apply continuous improvement in our services, performance and costs and help develop the operations further towards a more efficient set-up
Cross functional collaboration with several different departments such as sales, order management, commercial cars etc.
Solve operational issues and manage service providers through KPI’s, processes and escalate when needed
Coordinate customs matters when needed
Oversee the payment process and approve invoices in a self-billing process
Arrange transport outside the regular transport flow if needed
Your characteristics
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and commitment to teamwork. In this role, it will be important that you are able to manage your workload and meet deadlines by organizing and prioritizing your work in a dynamic and complex environment. You should also have a structured approach, be quality conscious, and have good documentation skills. The ability to work well both individually and as part of a team is essential. Your strong communication skills and ability to interact with internal and external partners will be valuable assets in this role.

Qualifications:
BA in Engineering, Business or Logistics or other relevant education
3-6 years of relevant work experience
Good experience in logistics operations and managing service providers
Experience in continuous improvement projects and tasks
Fluent English language skills, spoken and written.
Contract type and hours
Full-time, consulting assignment through Perido until 2024-09-30. Start in the beginning of March.
