We are looking for a Logistics Planner for HVDC projects. In the role you will be responsible for order handling and shipments all over the world and ensure that deliveries arrive to the destination at the right time with the right documentation. You handle goods supply issues daily via email, telephone and Teams. This means that you are an important link and coordinator between our customers, internal functions of freight forwarders and agents. The performance of the tasks must always follow the regulations and routines regarding quality and safety as well as legal aspects. The role mainly includes routine work tasks but also some problem solving and system analysis.
The work is carried out in a global environment at a high pace, with a strong focus on cross-functional collaboration. The nature of the role requires an ability to be flexible and to be able to independently prioritize and make assessments of how the time is best distributed for the work to be conducted efficiently. Your responsibilities
As Logistics Planner you will be the main contact between project and logistical department during transport execution
Ensure that delivery execution shipments are sent on time and according to defined plan and schedule
Work closely in high collaboration with Procurement department to ensure shipping is handled in a time and cost-effective manner
You handle goods supply issues daily via email, telephone, and Teams
The key is to be proactive and have a good way of planning all upcoming shipments for several projects in parallel
Prepare administrative transportation documentation for shipments to global projects
Fulfill shipping, packing, and marking procedures per project requirements in compliance with governmental regulations
Release shipments to forwarders based on packing lists. Provide administrative support in the identification and selection of forwarders for domestic/export transportation
Your background
Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a supply chain / logistics/ transportation coordinator
To be successful in this role you need to have high organizational skills, problem solving attitude, high level of stress management, and capacity to easily adapt to new changes
Basic knowledge of logistics compliance (import and export documentation/ rules)
Experience in working with DG is a plus
It’s an advantage if you understand incoterms and customs codes
You are careful and feel comfortable following our established rules, routines, and standards. You are committed, flexible and service minded
You are a social and outgoing team player, who strives for good cooperation in your contact areas and always take personal responsibility
Good knowledge of computers and systems: MS Office
It’s a global position and therefore it’s a requirement to have excellent skills in English. Skills in Swedish or additional language is an advantage
