Our Logistics activities will be centralized into regional Hubs to manage transportation and logistics operations and therefor Nouryon has a great opportunity for a Logistics TMS (Transportation Management System) Specialist for our HUB in Arnhem, The Netherlands /Gothenburg, Sweden.
You will be responsible for ownership of the TMS throughout the region including Data Analytics and insights, training, capabilities enhancement and master data management. In this role you will work closely with the Hub Manager and Logistic Team Leads and you will report to the Global Logistic Leader.
Main responsibilities
Own implementation and support of all TMS systems in Europe
Develop and conduct TMS training
Coordinate with TMS provider to implement system changes and capabilities enhancements
Manage master data and business rules within the TMS
Develop metrics reporting / dashboards and track metrics and trends
Analyze and review performance of logistics providers
Analyze TMS data throughout the region to develop insights leading to improvements in route efficiency and customer service as well as decreased operational costs
Lead and model Nouryon Values to include driving code of conduct compliance at all times
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years TMS development/support experience within logistics or supply chain, plus further logistics operations experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Research, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field
Experience with chemical companies is preferred
Strong analytical skills and abilities
Effective data visualization abilities
Ability to use data to support decision making and develop solutions to present to leaders
Outstanding communication skills and ability to communicate with various levels and functions within the organization, including global team members
Strong understanding of the transport market across multiple modes
Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision
Strong working knowledge and history of using computers and programs specific to logistics (SAP, TMS, WMS), data visualizations (Tableau, PowerBI), and to general business management (MS Excel, Word)

This is a permanent position on a full-time basis and the position is based in Bohus or in Netherlands , reporting to the Global Logistics Director and based in United States.
