We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to join our team! With our Surface Division Drilling and Exploration Products, we have a market-leading position globally and are investing heavily in technology and product development to stay competitive and provide our customers with world-leading, sustainable, and safe products.
The Surface division R&D organization is growing fast and the technology is shifting. We need to make sure that we have a healthy and sustainable organization that supports Epiroc’s exciting journey to accelerate the transformation of our industry.
This role is a part of a new team added to ensure our transition towards digitalization, automation, and CO2 reduction.

Your mission
As a Technical Project Manager, your mission will be to define a suitable sub-project organization, align resource allocations with appropriate line managers, and formulate goals, objectives, exclusions, a timeline, and a budget for the sub-project in collaboration with the members of the sub-project team.
We expect you to be proactive and continuously review and suggest improvements to the project realization to the Project Manager. Additionally, you will handle risks in the sub-project, plan, follow up, and continuously update resource needs to allow for effective planning in the line organization. Throughout the project, you will coach and motivate colleagues in the team and secure support for the sub-project within the organization.
This is a broad and collaborative position working cross-functionally, with many internal and external points of contact, including sales companies, customers, suppliers, and other Epiroc sites around the world.

Your profile
You should have a qualified engineering background with at least 5 years of experience in technical product development with complexity similar to our products, technical project management, or a similar field. Strong general technical knowledge and skills in project and/or product management are essential. Experience with mobile applications in demanding environments is a plus. Proficiency in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing, is required.
We would like to see that you have a genuine interest in technology and a proven track record of delivering results with good quality on time. As a person, you are structured, independent, and flexible, with strong analytical skills. You enjoy cooperation and communication and have experience coaching and leading team members in a cross-functional environment similar to ours.

Location and travel
This position is located in Örebro, Sweden. Occasional travel is required.
