Job Description:
We are now seeking a junior compensation & benefits payroll specialist for a contractor-assignment starting August and ending December 31st (with the possibility of extension). You will be based in Jönköping, but you will have the opportunity to work from home 25% of the time.

About the client:
The People & Organization department at the clients organization is currently in an intense and exciting development phase. The Compensation & Benefits team consists of 13 members, including payroll specialists, compensation structure experts, travel management specialists, HR administration, and travel-related matters. Together, they work to deliver the right salary and other compensations to approximately 2500 employees across Sweden.
In this temporary position, you will have the opportunity to work in a fun, challenging, and progressive team where no two days are the same. You will have the chance to influence, improve, and strengthen the client's compensation packages. You will be part of a flexible work environment with many development opportunities and the freedom to work partially from home.
Your role:
As a payroll specialist, you will not only ensure accurate salary delivery to employees but also contribute to process improvement. The client provides expertise to the company's managers, HR business partners, and employees. You will have the opportunity to participate in exciting projects aimed at advancing the business, including automation and digitalization efforts.
You will have frequent internal contacts, requiring high availability to answer questions from HR business partners, managers, and employees regarding salaries, other benefits, taxes, and more. You will also have external contacts with suppliers of payroll and time reporting systems.
Your profile:
To succeed in this role, we hope you are an independent and driven individual who enjoys working in a team and possesses excellent collaboration skills. You have a quick learning ability and can adapt to new systems. If you enjoy working with systems, improving them, and strategically simplifying work processes using them, that's a significant plus. You are resilient to stress and can act effectively even when circumstances change. As the role involves both external and internal contacts, you are outgoing and possess strong communication skills. Additionally, you are a cooperative person who is positive, curious about development, and committed to continuous improvement.
Desired experience and qualifications:
* Holds a university degree or equivalent in HR or Economics or has equivalent competence through experience
* 1-3 years of experience in qualified payroll work
* Fluent in both spoken and written Swedish and English
* Previous experience in companies applying collective agreements within the private industrial sector is advantageous
* Experience with HR Plus/Medvind systems is a plus
