Key Responsibilities:
Senior Environmental Specialist specialising in permit and compliance processes.


The Manufacturing Environmental team is a dedicated group whose goal is to support and provide prerequisites for improved environmental performance, such as environmental management and legal/regulatory requirements. We're looking for a consultant to help with permit management, development, and coordination of production permits, as well as environmental considerations in larger projects.


The main tasks are as follows:
Lead permit applications and similar projects for developing or new processes in order to ensure production security.
Environmental considerations, including legal requirements, in projects
Coordination of current permit for part of Volvo Cars operations, including authority communication
Support and coordinate major changes and/or projects independently, cross-functionally, and strategically.





Education, Expertise, and experience requirements:
Competency prerequisites for the applicant:
A bachelor's degree in environmental science or an equivalent qualification
Working experience with environmental legislation, permit applications, and environmental impacts in large-scale projects.
Ability to manage projects

Language Requirements: Mastery of English & Swedish language in both speech and writing is required.
