Looking for a Test Engineer in Gothenburg

We are currently looking for passionate experienced and result-oriented candidates for the role of a Test Engineer with a professional background and exemplary concepts to join our team.


Key Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for the following:
For our medical devices, create testcases.
Use our medical devices to run test cases.
Examine the architecture of the system and recreate it in a test environment.
In our lab, we install and configure test systems.
Review system and software requirements, then create test scenarios based on them.
Participate in requirement and test case reviews.
Create a manual test case.
Create and automate test cases using our Python test framework.
Carry out automated and manual test cases, as well as follow up on the results.
Collaborate with colleagues and partners around the world.





Education, Expertise, and experience requirements:
Competency prerequisites for the applicant:
A Master's or Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science is required.
You have a minimum of two years of experience in a related field.
Experience with programming languages such as Java and Python, which are commonly used in the testing industry.
We believe you are a responsible problem solver with a strong sense of ownership who is eager to learn new technologies in order to maximize your impact.
You're a software tester and usability expert. You feel at ease collaborating with other test engineers and developers to ensure that systems are built to be reliable, performant, and of high quality.
Because our products are medical devices that are used in hospitals and other care facilities, you are meticulous, detail-oriented, and quality conscious.

Other:
It is advantageous to have the following knowledge & experience:
Knowledge of Medical Device Regulations is meritorious (ISO 13485, IEC 62304).
Working knowledge of test automation tools such as Selenium, Python, or similar.
Software testing experience is a plus.
Working knowledge of agile testing methods.
Experience in the health-care industry.
For the purpose of developing test apps, you should have some experience with the Android SDK.
