Key Responsibilities:
The company is putting in place a new payment infrastructure that will be able to handle large volumes, be dependable, but also flexible and changeable.


Payment Infrastructure is currently looking for a senior test consultant. You will work as part of one of our teams on the P27 initiative, which is a top priority within the Payment domain.


You will oversee the development of our new ISO offering solutions and ensure that they comply with both ISO20022 and legacy formats, ensuring that we can handle current and future clearing mechanisms (P27).


You'll also be a part of the testing for P27, the Nordic payment market's new clearing house.


You will be part of a dedicated team of payment professionals tasked with transforming and modernising payment infrastructure.


Responsibilities:
Test planning and analysis, as well as writing test cases and executing tests
Manual and automated test methods for analysing, designing, implementing, and executing test cases
Ability to generate tests and XML-messages based on business requirements and Message Implementation Guidelines (MIG)
Close collaboration with Business Analysts, identification of test cases based on requirements, and assistance with unit, system, and OAT testing
Close collaboration with an external vendor and joint testing with other financial institutions
To carry out tests, close collaboration with mainframe developers (and other technologies) is required.
Plan and carry out regression and integration testing between standardised payment systems, APIs, and mainframe-based programmes.
Together with other testers, plan and execute cross-team E2E testing.
Defects should be reported, handled, and verified. Recommending appropriate test-related actions
Create and maintain test environments
Collaborate actively with the rest of the team to ensure high-quality delivery.





Education, Expertise, and experience requirements:
Competency prerequisites for the applicant:
At least 6 years of IT system testing experience and a thorough understanding of IT systems and infrastructure.
Knowledge of defining, executing, and reporting tests
Knowledge of testing standardised systems and related changes/adaptations
Knowledge of executing system tests, regression tests, integration testing, and E2E tests (both testing full systems as well as integration between multiple systems)
Domain expertise in payment
Understanding of the payments industry and a desire to learn about new developments.
Payment (processing/clearing) and payment message flow testing experience
Working knowledge of XML messages, not just GUI testing
