LOUNGE MANAGER

We are now looking for a Lounge Manager to join our Arlanda team.
Based in Stockholm Arlanda Airport, you will be operating in a high-paced multinational environment and be responsible for the day to day to running of our two Lounges. Your role will be to ensure that all passengers have a first class experience. This is a hands on role where the expectation is that you lead from the front and are visible in both Lounges during the course of your work day.
Main accountabilities include
Work closely with Planning department to assure efficient staffing of the lounges, and to make sure that the Lounge is always staffed at the right level
Help with the preparation of the budget for the lounges and ensuring an efficient use of financial and material resources
Solve operational problems while ensuring an excellent and smooth day-to-day lounge operations
Assure highest quality standards in regards to all aspects of the Lounge experience for customers and staff alike
Identify operational requirements and management of suppliers
Work closely with Commercial team and Station Manager to increase customer portfolio
Develop the current lounge product by continually striving to improve what we do, and making Menzies Lounges the first choice for all passengers in Arlanda
Responsible for the ordering of supplies and maintaining the invoicing system
Implementing measures for effective training and development of department employees
Assure efficient communication and collaboration of the team
Ensure that all local food safety and hygiene laws are observed and followed
Ensure the best possible working environment for your team, so that they in turn can give every Guest the best possible experience in our Lounges
Participate in team objectives and relevant projects at the station
Undertake other reasonable duties, as and when deemed necessary
Qualifications and Experience
At least 3 years of experience restaurant management preferably with some of that time in a back of house function
This is a hands on role. Your initial focus will be to be involved in the daily operations, and then over time to develop the product offering.
Proven manager experience
Financially and commercially astute
Fluent both in spoken and written Swedish and English
Excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills
Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships with both the internal and external stakeholders
A positive and flexible attitude
Ability to use initiative and to work independently in a busy environment
Under the Airport Security Act we conduct background record checks on all employees.
Working Hours: Full time
Duration: Permanent (with 6 months' probation)
Start: as per agreement
