Lower Key Stage 2 Teacher (Year 3 or 4)

The British International School of Stockholm invites applications from experienced, creative Primary Teachers to join our dynamic team in Key Stage 2, from August 2022. For the right candidate, there could also be the opportunity to take on the responsibility of Integrated Learning Leader for Years 3 and 4 - please clearly indicate in your Supporting Statement if you would be interested in this opportunity, outlining your relevant leadership skills and experience.

Applicants should:
● be a fully qualified teacher (UK BEd/BA QTS or PGCE with relevant degree, or hold the equivalent recognised teaching qualifications from other countries)
● hold Qualified Teacher Status, or the equivalent
● be a fluent English speaker
● be learning focused

The successful candidates will also:
● have proven experience of teaching in Key Stage 2
● have the ability to demonstrate and willingness to share outstanding practice
● demonstrate creative and enthusiastic approaches both in and out of the classroom
● be a reflective practitioner and embrace opportunities for continuous professional learning
BISS uses the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) alongside the Cambridge International Curriculum, to provide high quality learning opportunities from Year 1 to Year 6.
