GENERAL PRESENTATION MSF Sweden is a respected and visible actor for humanitarian principles and action in the Swedish civil society, with a strong presence in media.MSF Sweden was founded by Swedish doctors in 1993.As a partner in the international MSF movement, MSF Sweden exists to assist populations in danger by recruiting medical and non-medical fieldworkers, by raising funds and by raising awareness and provoke change through the act of temoignage (bear witness), or advocacy.Since its foundation, the Swedish section has grown at an impressive rate.In 2008, the Swedish section had 105 departures of field workers to the field.A board consist of nine national and two international members and represents the association.The office of MSF Sweden consists of 28 full-time positions and around 50 committed office volunteers.RAISON D'ETRE , MISSION AND NATURE OF THE POSITION -To increase the fundraising capacity of MSF-Sweden and be an active part of strengthening the fundraising team to ensure resources for MSF's work and mission.- To secure the sustainability and develop the capacity of MSF Sweden's fundraising by managing and developing a database which ensures quality, efficiency and capacity in donor and donation treatment.- To play a key role in developing and managing tools to improve donors retention, upgrading and renewing, thereby enhancing quality and efficiency, to increase private fundraising income. MAIN ACTIVITIES Responsible for: -donor loyalty and retention of MSF Sweden.-ensuring a high loyalty of MSF Sweden's donors, including ensuring a loyalty programme covering most areas of private donors -driving a continuous improvements of retention and minimise attrition.-managing and developing the Donor Relationship Management (DRM) strategies in MSF-Sweden.-the donor database system (Mysoft), regarding use for proactive fundraising -initiating development and improvements of the system related to proactive fundraising needs.-creating and ensuring reports and statistics needed for proactive fundraising.-all data selections (for mailings, magazine, analysis etc) and data input (from telemarketing, analysis etc), in collaboration with Head of Fundraising -overall for regular donors and income.-solicited or unsolicited warm income (non regular) -monitoring a mid level programme for private donors -analysis and tracking of general key indicators of MSF Sweden's fundraising JOB REQUIREMENTS Experience of working with.-CRM or other custom- or donor loyalty programmes -database system -segmentation and analysis of customer/donor segments -Good analytical skills and ability to set up/develop strategies based on analysis -Experience in setting and carrying out a strategy and budget planning -Ability to plan, organise and prioritise work in an efficient way to keep deadlines -Ability to work individually as well as within a team, good interpersonal/social skills -Flexibility, sense of initiative, team spirit -Good communication skills, including fluency in written and spoken Swedish and English.-Good marketing knowledge, hold a university degree in marketing or similar.VALUABLE -Fundraising experience -NGO experience -Mysoft experience We have limited possibilities to answer questions via phone.Please use e-mail.
