About the role
We have laid the foundation for our machine learning journey by building a platform which can be configured and trained for different on- and off-board applications. These applications vary between multiple domains such as traffic modelling, energy efficient driving, or even tools for software engineering. Typical tasks for you would span across the complete machine learning pipeline including collecting and preparing datasets, modeling, training and deployment. Apart from improving the platform itself, you will work in close collaboration with persons from the different application areas and assist them in configuring and training the model for their needs.

You will be part of a small team that will spearhead the introduction of machine learning into our products, services and engineering systems.
You work in an agile manner with a focus on showcasing implemented results.
You interact with other development teams and help them to configure and train the machine learning platform for their applications.

Requirements:
MSc in Data Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar
Skilled in programming (preferably Python)
Skilled in working with a Linux environment
Familiarity with classical machine learning and deep learning
Good verbal and written communication skills in English
You are a people person who loves to collaborate and build relationships.



Desired skills and experience:
Skilled in deep neural network modeling and training using PyTorch, TensorFlow or similar frameworks
Practical experience working with machine learning and/or deep learning and training CNNs, Transformers, etc.
Familiarity with current developments in machine learning techniques
Familiarity with automotive software or system engineering
