Job Summary
We are looking for a Machine Operation Engineer who is eager to develop and improve our Printing technology, operations and equipment!
You will join a diverse team consisting of different engineers. The Printing team within D&T IBE at Tetra Pak has the responsibility to develop, maintain and improve global specifications within PrePress, Printing & Digital Printing. We are the global owner of various equipment and process specifications and drive optimization and standardization of our end-to-end graphics operations.
This is a permanent position and you will be based in Lund, Sweden but work in a global arena. Travel is expected, up to 75% of your time.
What you will do
As Machine Operation Engineer, you will:
• Work according to WCM methodology while driving standardization
• Build and maintain training-material and programs
• Plan and conduct trainings
• Contribute to defining and maintaining Basic Condition of our equipment
• Drive Continuous improvement activities
• Installation & Commissioning management
• Provide machine operation, equipment- and process-competence to projects
• Document and provide engineering feedback driving system performance improvements
• Measure and secure performance prior to hand-over
• Plan, perform and document technical audits to reduce losses
• Support Converting factories with troubleshooting
• Coordination and analysis of equipment performance

You are curious and passionate about developing operations within Tetra Pak’s printing technology. Furthermore, you always act with the customer in mind while you have the ability to push yourself and others for results. Alignment with stakeholders and teams comes as natural for you as sharing your knowledge within the team.
• You act as a role model for safety, quality, and continuous improvement
• Operation and maintenance of Printing equipment (Flexo/Digital Printing)
• Good understanding of Ink and board interaction
• Relevant engineering degree and perhaps a graphical education of some kind
• Knowledge in WCM, Prepress and agile methods are meritorious
• Fluent in English, written as well as spoken
