Development & Engineering The D&E unit develops and produces packaging systems and distribution solutions for liquid food.The unit is part of the Tetra Pak Group which has a global coverage and key product development centres in Modena, Italy, Lund, Sweden, and Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.In Modena, Lund, and Minneapolis we provide product innovation and industrialization of packaging systems and distribution solutions including world class expertise in key competence areas as well as in raw material converting processes and equipment to our customers all around the world. We can offer you a creative and stimulating global work environment in strong partnership with local Converting factory organisations, global suppliers & partners, central engineering organisation and competence centres.We are looking both for skilled professionals and younger talents that will grow into our future experts.We will strengthen our Printing, Lamination and Down stream teams within the Packaging Material organisation with additional Machine Operation engineers.The responsibilities of these teams are to provide solutions to increase performance and expand capacity in the globally located Converting factories.This is done by: .Maintaining Printing, Coating and Slitting Converting standard line specifications by driving and supporting Product life cycle projects with design, validate and deployment of new solutions .Deliver, install and commission new machine lines .Support the installed base with upgrades, technical expertise and spare parts .Providing resources to cross functional Technology Development projects Your main tasks will be to: .Supervise Start-up of new or upgraded equipment and train local organisations to reach optimal equipment performance..Plan, perform and document technical audits and technical support activities .Follow-up Equipment performance The person we are looking for has solid equipment and process production or installation knowledge in one of the technology areas (Flexo printing, Lamination or Slitting).World Class Manufacturing experience is an advantage however not a requirement.Very good command of English, both written and spoken, is required.The successful candidate is a self-motivated person with a high inner drive to deliver results in combination with strong ability to advise others to use the best methods.You are a good communicator, able to work independently and/or as a part of a team.You will be travelling (50-100 days/year) and working in a global environment.
