Machine Vision Engineer

I am Eric (https://www.linkedin.com/in/eric-b%C3%B6rjeson/), your potential next leader. When I'm in work mode, you will see a leader eager to learn more and create conditions for how my team can make new, better, and more sustainable solutions in embedded, electronics, and Machine Vision. My interests have always been with technology from a broad perspective, inspired by the creativity of engineers and the respect for their work and striving to solve something that seems impossible. The wide-ranging engineering perspective is one reason I chose to start at Knightec, but also from a value and vision perspective. For me, leadership is to coach, give advice and meet every individual in my team on their terms. My leadership works best when we have an open and trusted dialogue, and if you let me, I can match your specific goal and have lots of fun doing it. And if you need a helping hand setting up a campfire, I’ll guide you.

What will you work with?
As a Machine Vision engineer, you will develop products and services for great Swedish technology clients. Our ambition is to set up, develop and re-design existing Machine Visions installations and guide and co-create new solutions with our customers. Machine Vision is an important field within Knightec to digitalize and help to transform our customers into a more sustainable business.

We believe that a holistic approach is required to make products and services succeed, both now and in the future. That's why we work within six fields of opportunities where your and our expertise can make an impact. Our way of working is in cross-functional teams, and the hands-on work is often in creating systems and programs at a low level on the hardware.

Who are you?
You have previous experience working with development projects using Vision Solutions where you have drawn up an all-new solution, done improvements to existing solution and/or troubbleshoot a vision installation to find a technical solution going forward. This has given you a good understanding of different technical hardware solutions on the market, i.e., cameras, lenses, lights, and design software. You are comfortable setting up all-new solutions or modifying the existing installations by combining general software integration skills and basic electrical design.

As an engineer within Machine Vision, you take on the consultant role to technically guide, advise, and support our customers. You are also interested in growing our business by proactively interacting and engaging Knightec with new customer relations. Your mindset and experience over the years have given you a professional network within Machine Vision.
