Machinery and Outfitting Engineer

We are looking to employ one Machinery and Outfitting Engineer to our headquarters in Mölndal, Sweden who is interested to work in an international and challenging environment.
The role of the Technical department is to ensure that the vessels in the fleet are appropriately designed, configured and maintained for high availability, low life cycle cost, safe operation, and in accordance with company standards and procedures. The technical department is expanding to be able to fulfill the role within the company and therefore we need to recruit more resources.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Your main responsibility as a Machinery and Outfitting engineer is to act as a Lead engineer for machinery, piping and outfitting within the technical department.
For in-service vessels: Lead conversion projects and studies related to these areas. Support the technical superintendents and the Maintenance system superintendent with expertise within the own area of responsibility.
For newbuilds: Support the project department with reviews of drawings, specifications and tests of systems and equipments related to own area of responsibility

Education / Training
MsC in Marine Engineer or similar
Experience
At least 2 years? experience from a similar role
Experience from marine machinery system operation and maintenance is a requirement.
System design and engineering is a requirement.
If you have experience from project management we see it as an advantage
Excellent knowledge in English and Swedish both written and verbal.
