Machinery Safety Expert - Husqvarna Construction Division

Husqvarna is now looking for a Machinery safety expert to strengthen our Product Compliance team within Construction Division.
As Machinery safety expert your responsibility is to ensure that Husqvarna’s products are safe to use, and fulfills the regulatory requirements in our various markets.
The position focuses on product safety, risk assessments and regulatory monitoring in related areas for construction equipment and systems.

Your mission and responsibilities
You will assure safety requirements are applied in Product Creation Process systematically and participate in risk assessments and evaluation of addressed risk mitigation activities. You will monitor related legislation and standards related to Husqvarna’s products. You need to keep track of new legislation and existing legislation, and determine whether it affects Husqvarna’s products, and if so, how.
This position will also join Husqvarna group’s product compliance networks, and take an active role in relevant national and international standard committees.

You will also
· Participate in, guide and provide training in Safety Risk assessments process of machinery products
· Take part in new development product projects, OEM projects and product maintenance to secure that product compliance requirements are fulfilled. This includes defining requirements, certification support, helping with interpretations, and auditing technical files.
· Assure that relevant stakeholders (R&D, product management, sourcing and manufacturing) are proactively informed about related legislative and standard changes.
· Plan and perform audits with regard to product compliance
· Participate in international forums and standardization related to machinery safety
· Monitor reoccurring certification activities

Who are you?
You have experience within the area of product compliance, quality management, or technical certification, with focus on product safety. Additionally meritorious experiences are outdoor noise certification and CE marking.
To enjoy this position you need to have analytical skills, and the capability to absorb complex information, investigate technical and regulatory publications, interpret, conclude, and communicate necessary actions and impacts. You like a structured way-of-working and have good English communication and presentation skills – written and verbal.
We see that you have a bachelor or master degree in engineering or similar.
