Maintenace Engineer Mechanical equipment Borealis is a leading provider of chemical and innovative plastics solutions that creates a value to our customers.In 2010 a new Wire and Cable production facility was inaugurate in order to meet the higher demands from our customers.It has a capacity of 350,000 t/y high-pressure LDPE and was an investment of 400 MEUR.We are now looking for a talented engineer to strengthen our Plant Availability team in Stenungsund, Sweden.You will be part of a team with the mission to develop the performance of the plant through reliability in world class.Purpose Borealis is strengthening its maintenance resources by recruiting maintenance engineers for our polyolefin plant in Sweden.The primary task of the Mechanical Engineer is to assure, develop and follow-up on daily maintenance issues together with our maintenance partner.Contribution -Analyse operability, malfunction and failures of equipment.-Responsible for developing improvements of equipment and PA strategy/working methods -Specify spare part needs within area of responsibility -Participate in planning and scheduling of maintenance activities in conjunction with shutdowns and turn around -Responsible for technical content in preventive maintenance activities within own area -Responsible for optimisation of maintenance activities -Give technical support in conjunction with troubleshooting -Contribute/ participate in projects for new investment in order to secure good operability, spare parts needs, documentations etc.Knowledge, skills and experience -Master of Science in Engineering within the mechanical discipline -Some years relevant experience -Good knowledge on international standards within own disciplin -Understanding of commercial economics -Good communication skills and fluency in Swedish and English We are looking for candidates who are willing to grow and develop within our organisation, either locally or within an international context.Application deadline: 2011-01-07 Expected Start Date: ASAP Location: Stenungsund, Sweden Home page: http://www.borealisgroup.com Contacts:
