Maintenance Engineer

The section Maintenance, Investments & Metrology is within the department Analyes & Verification Environments. We develop and procure testing equipment and facilities for the different departments within R&D. In order to meet requirements regarding reliability we acquire and ensure availability of the facilities, equipment and development tools within R&D. We provide metrology expertise, lending of instrumentation, design and service of development tools for testing departments. We also handle maintenance and calibration including evaluation according to agreed requirements, and provide fuel distribution to R&D, supply and spare parts storage.

As a Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for performing high skill level trouble solving when errors occur, diagnosis, installation of critical and non-critical mechanical plant systems and equipment, you will be working closely together with the operators and test engineers at the platform.Today it is more common to test several characteristics at once, meaning that several advanced computer aided systems are working together in a sophisticated way. But never the less it still requires you to work with preventive maintenance on a daily basis, by analysing errors or malfunctions in the systems to prevent them from happening again. The role requires independence and ability to search for information.

* Manage drawings & documents

Required qualifications

* University degree or equivalent and experience (master in industrial science or equivalent)
* Very good knowledge of the Maintenance practices or processes
* Good knowledge in managing small projects
* Be able to take responsibility, be driven and goal oriented
* English in speech and writing
* Management experience is an merit
* Driver licence "B"
