What’s in it for you?
Plant Maintenance is a part of the Plant Engineering (PE) organization at Volvo Cars Olofström (VCBC). The Plant Maintenance function have operational and strategic responsibility to develop technology, methodology and competences to continually optimize the availability and the maintenance cost for GPO new and existing production processes.

We are looking for a member that will work in our Plant Maintenance team. The team is located in Olofström.

What you’ll do  
As Maintenance Engineer have the responsibility for spare part preparation, R&M, drive continuous improvements and technical support to maintenance within your area. 

You will also:
•    act as main contact person towards maintenance regarding technical expertise
•    be part of / run investigations of various character
•    follow up installation of the equipment
•    be plant maintenance contact person towards suppliers within your area
•    be part of / run non-product, CAPEX projects and new projects
•    participate in workgroups within your area

Do you fit the profile?
To be a fit for this position, you should have a university degree within Engineering , or corresponding experience from maintenance work.

You are experienced in hot joining techniques such as resistance welding, arc-welding, adhesive bonding, laser welding and laser bracing. You have good knowledge about robots and control systems. Experience from maintenance and project management is meritorious. You are fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken

The operative location for this role will be in Olofström but traveling to Volvo Cars other plants and our suppliers around the world can be required.
