Scania IT is currently undergoing a very exciting change towards an increasingly operational- and flow-oriented approach in which Agile methods and fixed high-performance development teams are key components. Now is the perfect time to join this exciting journey.
The group Purchasing IT within Scania IT is responsible for developing and managing IT systems within Scania’s Purchasing department. The eQuality team is one of two agile teams who runs an own developed .net web based quality system.
We are now looking for a person with a significant interest in software development and Agile methods. You will play a central role in one of our development teams and will have many contacts around the Scania organisation. We can offer work close to operations with technical variation at a company with a very good working environment.
Your role
As a Maintenance manager within the eQuality team at Scania IT, you will be part of an organisation that works on both global implementation projects and maintenance of the existing product. In this position you will work close together with the purchasing department to understand their needs and document the requirements. You will be responsible for facilitating our agile work and coaching members on their road to becoming an even more high-performance team.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who has:
Experience and knowledge of analysing demands and writing user stories
Great skills in Agile software development methods
Self-motivation and the ability to lead others
A university education within IT or equivalent experience
Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Swedish
Experience from Purchasing or Quality is an advantage
As a person you are structured, socially skilled and customer oriented and have good communication skills. You are happy working in a team, but are also capable of working independently. Furthermore you are proactive, take initiative and ownership, and have the drive to move our delivery forward. You probably have a background as a Scrum Master and/or technical responsible, maintenance manager or IT project lead.
