Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a maintenance team leader. In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in developing a new generation of large-scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon-free society, and this is your opportunity to take part in leading those efforts and help drive us to success.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Read technical diagrams, blueprints and documentation.
Troubleshoot any machine or system issues and provide solutions.
Repair and replace equipment when needed.
Take the lead in understanding new systems and machines.
Contribute to the maintenance program optimization.
Create and provide support in creating work instructions.
Create and provide support in creating troubleshooting guides.
Be a leader in maintaining a safe work environment.
Ensure at least 1 team member attends each breakdown.
Be the first contact within your team for any maintenance issues and assess the information provided to better distribute the activities within your team.
Monitor the progress of your team members and together with the Supervisor decide on a development path.
Work closely with the Production shift manager to assess and determine priorities for breakdown rectification.
Ensure that all activities carried out by your team members or subcontractors are conducted skilfully and safely.
Ensure that appropriate maintenance records are submitted on time and in full.
Prepare and share daily handover notes and highlight new or more complex problems to the Supervisor.
Take proper and fast action when having failures and deviations affecting the production.
Support in developing and optimizing the maintenance for the equipment in terms of reliability, cost and safety.
Qualifications/education/experience
Three years Technical gymnasium.
Fluency in English.
Good computer literacy (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Previous experience in maintenance, minimum 2 years.
Valuable (but not required) if fluency in other languages, including Swedish
