Maintenance Technology Manager to Nynäshamn


Do you want to lead and develop the Maintenance Technology Group at Nynas' refinery in Nynäshamn?


We are taking the next step in development of our maintenance department and as manager of the Maintenance Technology group you will be a key player towards our goal of increased production capabilities, reliability and plant improvements.


Maintenance department is divided into seven groups; Maintenance Technology, Maintenance Coordination, Inspection, Storage, Workshop Mechanics, Workshop Electric and Workshop Instrumentation. As manager for Maintenance Technology you will be reporting to the Maintenance Technical Services Manager.
Maintenance Technology Group is responsible to achieve operational excellence for reliability and maintenance engineers in the short and long term, with a focus on continuous improvement and to enhance the reliability of the plant.
The group is also responsible for preventive maintenance and is also the key function in projects and major maintenance revisions, furthermore the group work closely with the workshop-, process-, production and engineering department as well as with suppliers.


Key responsibilities


As Manager of the Maintenance Technology Group you will manage and developing the group of engineers divided in disciplines Reliability- Instrumentation- Electrical- and Mechanical engineers. You will secure resources, internal as well as external, to ensure your group can fulfil the commitments to the refinery. You are responsible for the quality of delivered services and the budget associated with the Maintenance Technology group.
You are a part of the Maintenance management team and thereby the support and development of Nynas Technical Standards, Nynas management system for your group, and the group procedures.
Part of the role is operational within one of the disciplines in the group. This includes identify and investigate equipment performance and output quality setting up follow-up processes to ensure best practice. Develop and apply best practices for installation and maintenance of equipment in cooperation with Nynas engineering.


Candidate profile


We believe that the successful candidate has a Master of Science in Mechanical-, Electrical- or Instrument engineering or has equivalent work experience and training. Maintenance specific education and several 5-7 yrs. of experience in reliability maintenance .Today you probably have a similar position in process-, or production industry. You have been working with maintenance system like SAP, Maximo or similar. You have a leadership profile and several years of experience from leading people.
You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English.
