Who we are
Volvo Car Group owns and maintains Hällered Proving Ground (HPG). HPG is located 15km outside of Borås/70km outside of Gothenburg and is shared between Volvo Car Group and Volvo Group. Testing is an important part of Volvos product development process, where 
Solidity, comfort, performance, reliability and security constantly is being tested every day, every year.
HPG is a part of Volvo Cars Research & Development organization. We consist of 7 groups with a total of 160 employees, with the main function to run the facility and deliver test results to our internal customers. The maintenance department consists of 21 coworkers onsite. Everyone plays an important part in the daily operation to secure a flawless test facility, which includes roads, rigs, offices, workshops, water treatment plants, waterworks, gasoline station etc. We consider diversity to be an asset, and we believe it enhances our operations and gives us a wider competence and value base.

What you’ll do
As a maintenance engineer you will be responsible for coordination, planning and scheduling of maintenance activities towards rigs and facilities. You will support in the creation of predictive maintenance plans together with the real estate owner, securing that scheduled activities are executed within the set time frame for our different rigs/facilities. You will receive tickets/error reports and make sure that these are resolved. Focus will be to continuously manage our maintenance needs and act as HPG’s spokesperson towards the real estate owner. 
All with the aim to optimize the customer experience.
You will lead a smaller operations/facility team consisting of electricians, plumbing technicians and mechanics (occasionally also entrepreneurs, trainees and summer workers)
In the function you are also responsible to secure that we follow different regulations and laws in terms of work and environmental requirements put by authorities. You are involved in the ordering process, the creation and procurement of service agreements and maintenance projects. You are responsible for that internal controls are completed according to plan. You will lead and participate in different technical investigations.
You will be involved in the creation of different documents such as routines, instructions etc.
requiring basic computer skills.
The role might include on call service outside business hours, which will require 1-hour onsite preparedness.

Who are you?
You have an education within engineering & facility management.
Alternatively, you have been working within facility management as a project manager. 
We consider it meritorious if you have experience in leading teams and working environment regulations (BAS-U/P).
You: 
-    are structured, detailed and comfortable working with time frames
-    work independent and will grow when handed responsibility
-    are easy to work with and like to establish good relations
-    you have solution focus rather than problem orientation
-    like to work in an environment with many contacts
-    have a coaching approach towards colleagues
-    are comfortable working with IT-systems such as Maximo
-    have a driver’s license
-    are service minded

This role requires you to be fluent in speaking and writing in Swedish and English.
