Within the product Major Incident Management in the Digital department, we are looking for a new team member in our global team – a Major Incident Manager located in Sweden, Gothenburg.
You will be part of a highly motivated team of empowered Major Incident Managers that supports Volvo globally for major IT issues. We are working from different locations all over the world in a follow the sun model. This position works daytime. In this role you will interact with factories in more than four different countries as well as the commercial side, application support and IT infrastructure support. Our target is to deliver best in class Major Incident Management to minimize business impact with efficient coordination and communication as a team effort.

What’s in it for you?
Coordinate major incidents in a following the sun model. During a major incident you will be responsible for communicating relevant information to the correct stakeholders. In the aftermath you have a responsibility to follow up on all major incidents and assure that the root cause is being analysed and resolved. 
Outside the daily operations the team is working in an agile team with a prioritized backlog in close relationship with the Product Owner and the Scrum Master.

You and your skills
A good communicator, also in stressed situations. You are outspoken and outgoing as well as comfortable with stakeholder management including top management interaction. You need to be service oriented and able to perform well and focused under pressure. In this role you need to be comfortable taking the right decisions quickly to safeguard a swift resolution to minimize downtime. 
We are looking for a team player, who has a certain measure of authority. You need to be self-motivated, engaged, flexible and innovative. You enjoy working in a global team working in an agile way. 

We are looking for
•    Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent experience 
•    Solid incident management experience in a production environment
•    Excellent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
•    Good facilitating and coordination skills
•    Certified in IT operations, e.g. ITIL
•    Experience working with ITSM tools in general and Service Now experience are bonuses
•    SharePoint experience is favourably
•    Knowledge of agile ways of working is a plus
