Arbetsbeskrivning

Who are we?
Volvo Cars is a company on a mission; to bring traditional car manufacturing into a connected, sustainable and smart future.
Since 1927, we have been a brand known for our commitment to safety, creating innovative cars that make life less complicated for our consumers. In 2010, we decided to transform our business, resulting in a totally new generation of cars and technologies, as well as steady growth and record sales. Today, we’re expanding our global footprint in Europe, China and the US, and we’re on the lookout for new talent.
We are constantly pushing our own skills and abilities to drive change in the automobile industry like never before. We are looking for innovative, committed people to join us in this endeavour and create safe, sustainable and connected cars. We believe in the power of people and will challenge and support you to reach your full potential. Join us and be part of Volvo Cars’ journey into the future.

What's in it for you?
You will ensure that we quickly and efficiently solve major incidents that effect our operations at Volvo Cars. You will facilitate effective resolutions by chairing the meetings and facilitating the bridge calls. You will work with resolver teams and communicate with stakeholders and management teams on all levels within Volvo Cars.

You will be part of a highly motivated team that supports Volvo Cars globally, within incident-, problem- and change (ITIL) processes. We are working from different locations all over the world in a follow-the-sun model. In this role, you will interact with colleagues at factories in more than four different countries as well as the commercial side of the business.

What you’ll do
You will coordinate ongoing major incidents, chair the meetings, and facilitate the bridge calls, as well as be responsible for communicating relevant information to the correct stakeholders. In the aftermath you have the responsibility to follow up on all major incidents and appoint responsible team for root cause analysis.

Outside the daily operations, the team is working in an agile team with a prioritized backlog in close relationship with the Product Owner and the Scrum Master. You will contribute to strategic improvements and process optimization.

Who you are
We are looking for a colleague who have solid major incident management experience in a production environment. You are certified in IT operations, e.g., ITIL, and are excellent in English, both written and spoken.

You navigate confidently in a multi-cultural environment. Facilitating and coordinating are among the things you like best! It’s a plus if you have experience from working with ITSM tools in general, Service Now, and within the Incident Management Process and also from working with an Agile methodology. We appreciate if you have previous experience from working at Volvo Cars.

As a person you are a good communicator, even in stressed situations, and are outspoken and outgoing as well as comfortable with stakeholder management including top management interaction. We see that you are solution- and service-oriented, able to perform well and focused under pressure. You enjoy being a team player, who still can have a certain measure of authority. You are self-motivated, engaged, flexible, innovative, and enjoy working in a global team. You are passionate about building a work environment based on trust.

You have a bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent experience. We expect you to have 5 – 15 years of experience in Incident/Problem/IT operations management in a production environment.

We offer our employees excellent benefits such as:
Plenty of leave to let you take time off for what's most important in life at Volvo Car Group, all new parents with one year’s active permanent service now receive 24 weeks of parental leave, paid at 80 percent of their base pay.
