Management Accountant (English and Swedish speaking) - Home Based

The role
Due to a period of maternity leave, we are looking for a fluent Swedish-English speaker to join our pan-European team of talented finance staff. This is initially a one-year contract which may become permanent thereafter. The role has primary responsibility for managing a portfolio of Swedish windfarm entities. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Management Services, the successful candidate will have responsibility for the financial and commercial management of at least 4 onshore windfarms (7 legal entities) in Sweden with an aggregate turnover of c. €15 million.
This position is home based and candidates can be located anywhere in Sweden or in the UK, with occasional travel required to Manchester (UK).
The person

In addition, applicants must be bilingual in English and Swedish as it will be an essential requirement of the role to interact verbally and in writing in both languages.

Job Description
Key Tasks/Duties
This is a varied role providing technical accounting support to clients and management reporting responsibilities, including:
Production and oversight of monthly management accounts and variance analysis
Key liaison to European clients, Swedish auditors, external accountants and tax advisors
Take ownership of managing commercial and reporting aspects of the legal entities
Assist in managing budgets, cash flow forecasts and financial models
Act as mentor to junior staff
Ad-hoc client reporting


The Person
Qualified (or Part-qualified) UK or Swedish Accountant
Minimum of 3 years completing Management Reports
Client-facing experience
Good knowledge of Swedish GAAP, UK GAAP and/or IFRS
Experience with Fortnox accounting system an advantage
Excellent Excel skills
Bilingual English and Swedish
