United Parcel Service is currently looking for a team member to the management accounting team in the Nordic Finance & Accounting department with start date during this fall. You will work in close relation to the Nordic management team, Region Finance & Accounting and our shared service sites.

Job duties:

• Assistance during month end closure, preparation of accruals, review of cost and revenue bookings
• Analyzing and communicating operational metrics (e.g. expense, volume, revenue, profit, productivity) to management to convey the state of the business.
• Preparation of variance analysis and liaising with function managers to put finances and accounts in context.
• Performing various internal audits, external reporting to local authorities and taking necessary action resolving upcoming ad-hoc issues.
• Ensuring compliance of company’s activities with all internal and statutory financial regulations.


Qualifications:

• 1 year experience in accounting is preferred (i.e. AP and/or AR)
• Degree in finance, accounting or business administration is preferred
• Knowledge of bookkeeping principles and accounting is required
• Advanced Microsoft Office expertise, in particular MS Excel
• Strong communication skills, including written & oral English and Swedish
• Ability to work independently
• Well organized and able to multi-task
• Well-developed analytical skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Cross-functional relationship building skills
