Pierce, Europe's largest and fastest growing motorcycle-focused online retailer, is launching a Management Trainee Program - the Pierce Petrolhead Program!
If you are a young professional looking for a challenge in a high paced environment, then this position offers a unique opportunity to become an integral part of our continued growth journey. Our trainees will initially join our Strategy and Corporate Development team to support the business and the management team on a variety of projects and initiatives, with an ambition to gradually transfer into an operational management role. As such, this can be a stepping stone into a future line management role.
The program:
- Starts during the fall 2020, initial placement in Stockholm

The program provides an opportunity to join Pierce in a capacity to learn the business and organization inside and out as well as to get significant experience working with various part of the organization and management team

Key tasks will include working with strategic planning, portfolio & project management, as well as business and corporate development projects across the entire company

The role reports into our Strategy & Corporate Development Director

Following an initial period of 1-2 years the candidate is encouraged to seek a position within the line organization at Pierce
-
Candidates will be offered the opportunity to work abroad at one of our offices for a period of time as well
Key responsibilities:
- Support the management team and organization in developing, growing and improving various aspects of our business
- Conduct business analysis and research from which you synthesize reports and recommendations
- Prepare and manage cross functional projects and business improvement initiatives
- Help facilitate the annual group strategy and planning process
- 1-3 years of management consulting or investment banking experience, alternatively experience from a similar role in a corporate environment
- A higher education (BSc, MSc or similar) in business administration or engineering
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and drive, and an ability to act independently
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent collaboration skills
- Excellent MS Office skills
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- International experience and cross-cultural understanding is desirable
- You might even have an interest in motorcycles, motocross and/or snowmobiles
