Development & Engineering The D&E unit develops and produces packaging systems and distribution solutions for liquid food.The unit is part of the Tetra Pak Group which has a global coverage and key product development centres in Modena, Italy, Lund, Sweden, and Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.In Modena, Lund, and Minneapolis we provide product innovation and industrialization of packaging systems and distribution solutions including world class expertise in key competence areas as well as in raw material converting processes and equipment to our customers all around the world.We are looking for an experienced Manager with purchasing and commercial skills for the 3rd Party Equipment (3PE).You will be a member of the Extended Management Team.The 3PE function was launched as a service to our market companies.Our function is to scout and evaluate third party distribution solutions, which are not part of Tetra Pak product portfolio.This service is intended for complementary equipment required by our customers via our market companies to build whole packaging lines. Your main tasks and responsibilities will be: . Scout and assess potential suppliers and their equipment . Negotiate frame contracts . Present and communicate recommended solutions to our market companies .Review the service, suppliers and their equipment continuously The successful candidate must have a business, financial or technical university degree or an equivalent level of experience.You have experience in marketing and commerce.As your work will involve international contacts you should be fluent in spoken and written English, and be prepared to travel approx.40 days/year.This position will demand a high level of business and negotiating skills as well. As a person you are a team player with personal drive, result orientation and a positive attitude.You are innovative and have a very good sense of judgement.
