Development & Engineering The D&E unit develops and produces packaging systems and distribution solutions for liquid food.The unit is part of the Tetra Pak Group which has a global coverage and key product development centres in Modena, Italy, Lund, Sweden, and Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.In Modena, Lund, and Minneapolis we provide product innovation and industrialization of packaging systems and distribution solutions including world class expertise in key competence areas as well as in raw material converting processes and equipment to our customers all around the world. To the Advanced Testing & Calibration team within Innovation & Engineering Excellence, Packaging Technology we are looking for a Manager.The Advanced Testing & Calibration team develops leading edge testing practices and methods and provides global technical support for Tetra Pak within the three main areas; Instrument Calibration, Measurement Technique and Test of electrical components. In this position you will get the opportunity to lead an experienced, dedicated and successful team and you will be able to influence Tetra Pak's approach to testing.Your main responsibilities will be: .Management responsibility for a team of 9 people, securing that the team keeps providing a high level of support to the organization .Member of the Innovation & Engineering Excellence Management team .Budget responsibility .To drive maintenance of existing methods and tools in parallel with driving activities to develop leading edge testing methods and tools for the future. The successful candidate has a university degree within Engineering and a genuine experience from working with product development and testing.You should also have experience from managing a group of people.As a person you have strong leadership skills and a high level of understanding for the importance of accuracy and traceability.You need to have good networking and communication skills.You must also have the ability to manage your team in providing a high level of excellence while at the same time being able to initiate and drive for change.
