Manager and leader to IT group at Scania (to challenge and be challenged)

Let me tell you about this great opportunity to get in to get into one of the most exciting development departments here at Scania.

As manager for “ARS & Vehicle Related Services” you will lead an awesome team of 15 ambitious low code developers.

We mainly work from home, but occasionally we meet in our office at Telefonplan. Sometimes we also meet in Scania offices in Södertälje.

You will also be part of an equally awesome management team within the sales and services department. We believe in modern leadership thinking and agile way of working, and we think you will fit perfectly into that mindset.

Your main responsibilities will be to inspire and drive a great development culture where your team members get challenged and grow in their careers. It is also to collaborate closely with our business representatives and make business and IT working as one.

You and your team are responsible for a low code platform that caters to seven different business areas at Scania and other brands within the Traton Group. Within this platform you build and maintain high quality applications to improve Scania business processes.

We think you are someone that are strong at building relationships based on trust. Trust that you get by being true to your promises but also because you are transparent, humble and open when things are not going as planned.

You are good at driving change and constantly challenging the status quo, this is probably something that gets you up from bed every day.

We think you resonate deeply with agile principles and love the challenge to implement and coach these principles and practices in your team and stakeholder relationships.

Even though you are all of the above, you are constantly hungry and eager to develop even further, and never stop learning.
