Manager BI & Advanced Analytics to Nexer

This is a great opportunity for a proven BI expert and Manager that can bring value within strategy, technology and communication. You will be tasked with leading the future growth of Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytics within the Nexer Group.

Your everyday life

In this important position you have both strategic and operational responsibility, plan and carry out activities and are responsible for information dissemination and reporting both up and down within Nexer.

In this role you will build a new unit with a focus on Business Intelligence & Advanced Analytics. The responsibility is both strategic and operational where you plan and carry out the activities necessary to succeed. Initially you build the unit by recruiting new employees with expertise in Power BI, Qlik, SQL, etc., and work closely with the customers to create long-term and successful business. You are responsible for the financial results of the unit and are part of the management team, where you, together with other leaders and Business Managers, develop our business area.

We want you to continue to be an expert within your field and therefore you combine the managerial role with your own part-time assignment, where you are an expert in BI & Analytics at one of our customers.

To help you succeed in building this unit, you have the Nexer recruitment team that is constantly working actively to find interesting candidates. Your responsibility is to have a good understanding of the market’s needs and to be able to provide the right requirements, and as always, be the person that gives your surroundings the energy to do a good job.

You are
You have extensive experience of running projects with customers where you have led the design, development and implementation of critical BI initiatives that, among other things, have improved data literacy and created actionable insights.

You have several years of experience developing analytics solutions using tools such as Power BI, Qlik, SQL Server, Integration Services, Analysis Services, Azure Data Lake and Azure Data Factory.

All in all, you have solid experience of technical project management, delivery responsibility, team lead, presales and consulting on solutions and architecture.

To succeed you do what it takes to achieve your goals. You are brave and determined and good at networking. You are also good at challenging and questioning the current situation.

We are looking for you who have a university degree in a relevant area, such as a systems scientist or civil engineer. Experience from agile work is an advantage, and it is also an advantage if you have worked in the consulting industry.
