Manager BIM

Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Manager BIM. Come join our passionate team in Skellefteå.
As Manager BIM you will manage the project BIM Coordinator team and work on implementing and policing the Northvolt BIM strategy across the project. You will coordinate the multi disciplinary design and work together with internal and external stakeholders to provide needed BIM expertise and model support.
Be part of BIM development forum and provide feedback and lessons learned on the central BIM strategy. Govern and own the local BIM documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the multi-discipline engineering team and project stakeholders to ensure optimized BIM delivery and support through all project phases.
Responsible for the BIM software tools and the associated licenses in the project.
Ensure project compliance with central BIM strategy.
Gather BIM lessons learned at the project stage gates and feedback to central BIM Manager.
Hire for the local BIM team.
Manage and mentor the local BIM Coordinator

Qualifications
Bachelors or master’s in an Engineering or technical field ideally
Minimum of 8 years experience in a BIM role.
Fluency in English
Computer literacy (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project)
Valuable (but not required) is fluency in other languages, including Swedish.
Valuable (but not required) is previous experience in leading teams.
Have experience with delivery for complex and dynamic multi-disciplinary projects

Specific skills
End to end lifecycle information management and deliverables management
Experience in CDEs and model management
Experience in relevant software’s used at Northvolt such as Navisworks and Revit.
