The Business Control function plays a very important role in the management of profitability globally within Sandvik Coromant.It is closely connected to the pricing function, thereby insuring that profitability is consistently managed within Sandvik Coromant in all aspects, ranging from very operational to very strategic issues. Key performance areas Your main responsibility is to take an active part in developing the business control function.Main tasks include initiating, leading and coordinating projects and activities to increase business efficiency and profitability and contribute to critical business decisions.The Manager of the Business Control function will have the line responsibility for a small team located in Sandviken, as well as functional responsibility for Business Controllers in the different business units around the world.The position is part of the Finance Management Team and reports to the CFO of Sandvik Coromant, who works at the main office in Sandviken. Tasks and responsibilities include: Lead the monthly and quarterly closing process, as well as the rolling forecast and target setting process.Perform detailed analysis of the financial performance.Manage net working capital development.Coordinate financial and operational target-setting and follow-up of Tooling Supply.Provide support, advice and training in all financial aspects within the organisation.Ensure an efficient way of working with financial and non-financial information, packaging and communicating this for various levels of management.Develop and implement relevant KPIs supporting the development of the business.Facilitate benchmarking.Manage or participate in projects of a global or regional character to develop the business.Your profile Sandvik Coromant is looking for a candidate with 8-10 years of relevant work experience within finance, business control, M & A or business intelligence within an international organisation.The person we are looking for must have a university degree in Finance or Business Administration and excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.The right candidate has a strong analytical mind and a genuine interest of business development from a business control perspective, as well as the ability to understand complex processes and working flows.To be successful in this position you must be an excellent team-player and communicator at all levels of contact.The Manager Business Control works at Sandvik Coromant's main office in Sandviken, Sweden.Some travel is required, about 20-40 days per year.Contact information If you are interested in applying for the above mentioned position, you are welcome to send your application to Alumni, our recruiting partner for this position.
