Who are we?
The Chassis Gothenburg product development department has the mission to maintain and develop the premium Volvo trucks FH/FM/FMX models. We take full product ownership of complete chassis and work as “front face” towards the Volvo Brand. We drive the deliveries by close cooperation with technology streams and utilizing global architecture, components, and interfaces to secure that common solution can be used for other brands and models within the Volvo group.
We are reinforcing product ownership and introducing new ways of working and high agile pace in delivering product improvements, while working to create and maintain a culture of passion and trust, where we work together and support each other in our daily tasks.
What will you do?
Within the section “Complete Chassis” we are now looking for a new group manager for the group ‘CA & Product Material’.
The group has responsibilities within three different responsible areas:
Customer adaptation, physical verification and material control/updates.
Customer adaptation team is supporting both Tuve and Gent factories with expert knowledge in chassis related technical investigations on solutions which is not included in standard offering.
Physical verification has the responsibility to secure, coordinate and facilitate physical verifications on so called master objects in our different product change initiatives. The Verification leaders facilitate and drive master update meetings where master builds are handled.
Material control/updates area is responsible for securing material for early product change builds, rig updates and rebuilds for chassis department. The Build and Update Leaders are chassis representatives in the vehicle update meetings where rebuilds are handled.
Your main mission will be to secure deliveries within above 3 areas, drive and develop the team towards new goals in a rapidly changing environment. You shall distribute workload, define roles within the team and support personal development plans.

Requirements & Skills
• Bachelor of Science or equivalent
• 10 years of automotive work experience
• Proven leadership skills
• Knowledge in AB Volvo Tools & Processes; KOLA, DVP, Customer Adaptation.
• Team player and positive mindset
