Cab Product Engineering (RCR) has the responsibility to lead improvement projects connected to field quality (FQ) issues, global accessory assortment and smaller development projects (DOL) of new products within the current platform. Beyond that RCR are also responsible to secure the introduction of cab-related parts in our future China production, production-related matters and cost optimization.
This position will be based in Södertälje as manager for one of the two groups. The section also includes two groups in Oskarshamn.
Main tasks
Lead and coach the group, which is divided into three teams, to fulfil the corporate targets and with a high level of business acumen carve out the strategy for the global accessory assortment. The group currently consist of five object leaders and four designers.
You also have to balance the resources within your teams and in a non-prestigious way, with the other managers at RCR, define what tasks to perform to give the most profit for Scania.
As manager for the FQ, Accessory & DOL team you will:
• be working in a flexible environment where you will build a broad network with many different areas of Scania in a global context.
• earn a great knowledge about all the components in the cab and explore your skills for strategic business acumen.
• train your presentation skills when you on several levels push for your strategies or present the current status.
• develop your leadership when heading three parallel teams within one group.
• be a stakeholder for aftermarket activities within Scania and Cab development.
