Manager Central Planning

Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Do you want a global logistics job that really matters? Central planning is an important function within global logistics. We work in a global and cross functional environment that will increase your network within Scania and Traton. Our work has a big impact on the short and medium term result for Scania, will give you a deep understanding of the end-to-end order-to-delivery process and involvement in future cross brand cooperation’s. 

The team is responsible for Capacity planning, Restriction management, Material demand forecasting, Production levelling, Production ordering of trucks, buses and engines, and has a central role in the Crisis Coordination process. The team is also working with global logistic preparation and cross brand order coordination. Central planning act in the interface between Industrial Operations functions, i.e. Production, Logistics, R&D and Purchasing, as well as with Sales & Marketing.

As a relevant and central part of the Order to Delivery process, the role is fully involved in many important development projects as the New ERP Backbone implementation and China.

The position
We are now looking for a leader with a strong drive, excellent communication skills and an analytical mindset. The department, Production control, has operational and strategic responsibilities within several of Scania´s main processes and Strategic Focus Areas.

Your profile
You are a leader today and have an academic degree or similar knowledge gained from working experience. Previous experience from Production, Logistics, Purchasing or Sales and Marketing is required. You are fluent in the English language both written and spoken.

We believe you have an analytical ability to solve problems without losing sight of long-term strategies. You are flexible, solution oriented and able to quickly find solutions to situations that arise. You are focused on common goals, create good relationships with different stakeholders involved in the processes at Scania and Traton, creating a collaborative environment.
