Who we are
The Global Sustainability Team (GST) is organised within the cluster of Product Creation. GST is responsible for shaping the global sustainability strategy and guide its implementation, by focusing on cross-functional alignment and raising the ambition level in line with the decided strategy. We are also responsible for strengthening the internal governance and shape messaging towards relevant stakeholders.
What you will do
• Managing the delivery of the global circular economy strategy by working with internal and external stakeholders to make change happen.
• Evaluating progress of key strategic areas and analysing solutions to ensure impact happens.
• Engaging with people from across Volvo Cars to gain alignment and agree action on Circular Economy.
• Support the quantification of potential initiatives and how they interlink with the global strategy and roadmap.
• Take the lead and manage on cross functional priority areas to ensure action.
Do you fit the profile?
You have a relevant university degree at master’s level and at least 8 years of experience from positions in different industrial sectors of which some at senior level.
You have a broad understanding of business realities in our industry. You have strong business acumen.
You have a proven record of capturing the benefits from circular economy in industrial companies. Experience with circular economy quantification and knowledge about sustainable materials an advantage.
You have programme/project management and/or change management experience.
You are structured, result oriented with strong leadership and analytical skills as well as a curious mindset.
