At Manufacturing Engineering G&B, you will be a key contributor to the next generation outstanding luxury cars from Volvo. Together with other engineers around the world, you and your team will create innovative manufacturing processes that makes the manufacturing of car bodies more efficient. The Commodity ME group is part of Manufacturing Engineering Geometry and Body and has responsibility for develop and implement process solutions for Volvo Cars Body shops including Subassemblies. The team works globally towards all Volvo plants but is located in Olofström and consists of around 15 people.
In this position, you will be responsible for competence planning, recruitment, development of the organisation and employees to fulfil current and future needs. You will secure standardization and commonality between plants while striving for strategic fulfilment, common solutions and that lesson learned are incorporated in the daily work.

You and your skills
In order to be successful this position we see that you are comfortable in leading and developing people in a rapidly moving and changing environment. You are a team player and cooperate well in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment. You have a positive and proactive mindset, are honest and transparent in your communication and can put challenging targets on yourself and your organization.
-We want you to have a Technical university degree or equivalent experience and have several years work experience in relevant areas.
-Leadership experience is key in this role.
-Fluency in English both written and spoken is required.
-You need to be able to travel frequently, mainly to Gothenburg.
