You will become part of Customer IT that develops and operates specialized IT solutions closely together with business colleagues to create value for our customers. We want to enable our customers to become fossil free within one generation. Our main internal business partner is Customer & Solutions, with whom we cooperate closely. Customer IT is setup locally, in Sweden, Germany, Netherlands and Poland. Customer IT Nordics is divided by five teams located in Sweden. We are looking for a new manager for this newly established unit to lead a group of highly skilled professionals dedicated to designing and implementing innovative smart analytics platform solutions.
We are looking for you, who is ready to lead a forward-thinking data and analytics team within a rapidly evolving technological landscape and to oversee our Azure-hosted Data Lake and drive innovation in our analytics solutions.
This pivotal role requires the ability to balance technical excellence with strong people management skills to deliver impactful results for our customers. You will play a critical role in integrating Machine Learning (ML) and AI technologies into our data platform, driving the next wave of innovation.
You will be a part of the Customer IT Nordics management team and shall be located in Stockholm. You will work closely with four other sister departments to complete an integrated service delivery.
Main challenges & Key Responsibilities:
Delivery Focus: Lead the delivery of cutting-edge analytics solutions, including ML and AI initiatives, tailored to meet the needs of our customers. Ensure that these solutions drive efficiency, innovation, and tangible business outcomes across the organization.
System Ownership: Take ownership of the Data Platform overseeing its technical health, monitoring operations, and setting standards and guidelines. Develop and maintain the platform's technical roadmap in close partnership with System Owner to ensure its long-term sustainability and alignment with organizational goals.
Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with your sister team, Customer Analytics business to maintain a cohesive approach to our delivery. Share responsibilities for cross-functional team delivery, competency building, and team engagement activities.
Technical Expertise: Leverage your deep understanding of Microsoft Azure services, to guide the team in maintaining and enhancing the data platform. Ensure adherence to DevOps best practices, maintaining a high standard of operational excellence.
Governance & Compliance: Establish and enforce platform guidelines and best practices, ensuring robust governance controls are in place. Monitor the platform’s operational health, addressing any issues proactively to minimize disruptions.
Team Development: Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages growth and professional development. Facilitate knowledge sharing, plan team events, and implement rotational opportunities to build competencies and engagement across the team.
Qualifications
We are looking for a person who has a relevant University degree Computer Science, Information Management, Enterprise Automation or related field. In addition, the following qualifications are important for this position:
Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving innovation together with the business counter parts.
Experience in dealing with strategic, highly complex issues, problems and challenges in changing context
Holistic and visionary view to identify future trends and opportunities
Experienced at working in international cross-functional teams and dealing with higher management
Proven interpersonal skills in successfully driving value creation in cooperation with business and IT
Proven experience (4+ years) in managing teams delivering data platforms or data products in energy sector, or related fields.
