The Core IT Service cover the areas of server hosting, integration, output management and a selection of application-related services including application operation. The server hosting part belongs to Data Center Services.

Briefly about the job
All in all, you ensure and manage development and efficiency of the Data Center Services function, consisting of five main services divided into two Service Owner roles. The services are based on X86, Linux, Mainframe and iSeries platforms. You coach and lead a team of around 15 members, with a mix of employees and contractors both in Sweden and India.
You’re responsible for ensuring that the area’s technological level is up to date, conducting studies and implementing new procedures and techniques, including selection of hardware, software and supplies. Being accountable for IT demands, authorized IT projects and enhancements of specific applications is important parts of your job. Also included in your mission is to:
Create and deliver an IT plan that realizes the goals and objectives of the overall strategy.
Secure that business demands are captured and implemented in the services.
Take responsibility for activities related to the infrastructure.
Oversee the study and implementation of new processes and techniques for the area with focus on IT plan, IT risk analysis and IT lifecycle management.
Manage recourse planning and allocation in collaboration with service owners.
Coach and line manage allocated staff.
Establish and manage the function’s budget and the allocation to the individual services.
For this role, we need your presence at one of our sites in either Stockholm or Sandviken.
Your background and personality
We’re looking for someone with extensive experience from service development concepts and service lifecycle. You have very good vendor management skills with proven experience and conceptual knowledge in IT, including X86, Linux, Mainframe and iSeries platforms, as well as in private and public cloud concept, especially Azure. If you also have experience from developing agile ways of working its considered a plus, as well as from managing a service center in a large international environment. We also believe that you have a background from a managerial position where you’ve successfully led diverse and senior teams and stakeholders. As you work with people from all over the globe you need excellent skills in verbal and written English, knowledge in Swedish is a plus.
Your leadership style is based on honesty and respect, and you’re used to coaching your team-members. You have high self-awareness and a “zoom-in-zoom-out” kind of mindset, giving you the tools, you need to spot the details. With your excellent communication skills, you have no problem in building relationships and networks across cultural borders. You thrive in an open and including environment where you get to create energy and inspire others to develop – a true team player to say the least!
