Foundational Products & Chapters is part of Technology, a new function within Volvo Group Digital & IT with a big stake in the Group’s digital transformation. Technology will modernize Volvo’s core digital backbone making it a platform for digital products. Foundational Products & Chapters are responsible for API & Integration, DevSecOps, Cloud and Development Platforms. Our Foundational IT products are used by digital product teams and enable them and their products to outperform Volvo’s competitors. Our digital talents develop capabilities and digital technologies to improve business performance and create value for the Group with speed and at scale.
We collaborate with other parts of the organization, both in Digital & IT, and other Volvo Group Functions. We foster an environment where ideas, thoughts and opinions can be shared. We are team players with clear common ambitions, and we win together.

You are an experienced leader who have energy and passion for modern software development. You always put the customer in focus and are curious to understand the needs of the business to be able to provide the best fit for each team. You always have an ear with your stakeholders and believe in the power of collaboration. Working in a global context is something that comes naturally to you.
As Manager DevSecOps Practices you lead a global team of subject matter experts in the development and implementation of ways of working for the DevSecOps area. You play a key role in the DevSecOps transformation across the Digital & IT Community to implement the new ways of working and drive a culture shift. You work frequently with partners and vendors to keep on top of market trends to always provide market standard best practices into the Volvo context.
You drive the development and implementation of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for Digital & IT, as well as related processes & handbooks to ensure that a simple, consistent way of working is provided, supported, and coached by your team.
You connect frequently with stakeholders to better understand their needs and provide expertise that not only meets but exceeds their expectations. You drive a continuous learning culture that allows you to develop new capacities and competence areas so that we grow the maturity our DevSecOps teams across the Digital & IT community.
Who are you?
We believe you thrive on working in a global team with amazing, talented people. To be successful in this position we believe you have a university degree or equivalent, and several years of experience from Leading people in the Software Development domain. You also have previous experience as a practitioner in Software Engineering.
You have a good understanding of DevSecOps and are equipped to be an advocate for good development practices. You have excellent coaching skills and possess a great ability to collaborate with and inspire people at various levels of the organization in their adoption of the new way of working.
You should be passionate about driving strategic & technological transformation in a business focused, fact-based, and collaborative way to achieve real impact.
In addition to this, you are a believer in continuous learning. You should feel energized by working both independently and interdependently, have proven skills in cross-functional collaboration and thrive in managing, foster, and enable both the perform and the transform angles of the job.
